On September 26, 2026, the STF ruled (Theme 1483) that Decree 11.615's shorter periods apply to older registrations, with transition rules.
The STF held that Decree 11.615's periods also apply to CRs and CRAFs issued before it (Theme 1483).
A CAC CRAF lasts 3 years; other cases, 5 years. Older CAC CRAFs follow the IN 330 renewal calendar.
CRs granted or revalidated under Decree 9.846/2019 keep the original period, under PF IN 322, still in force.
