To clean a pistol, unload it and check the chamber, follow your model's manual, use little oil and leave repairs to a licensed gunsmith.
Step one: muzzle in a safe direction, finger off the trigger, magazine out and chamber checked empty.
Always clean after shooting. Use little oil: too much can reach the primer and cause a misfire (Taurus manual).
Faults and repairs go to a gunsmith licensed by the Federal Police. Modifying a gun can be a crime (Law 10.826).
