These Terms of use apply to the Tiro Seguro website (tiroseguro.com.br) and all of its content and services. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What Tiro Seguro is
Tiro Seguro is an independent website with information about firearms in Brazil: laws, procedures, training and news. The site also offers a directory of professionals and clubs, an events calendar, job listings and posts exclusive to supporters.
Tiro Seguro is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the Brazilian Federal Police, the Army or any other government body.
2. The content is informational
The site's content is for information and education. It does not replace legal advice, the official rules or the information provided by the responsible authorities. Firearms rules change often: before making any decision, check the information with the official sources.
You are responsible for complying with the law in everything you do based on the site's content.
3. Directory of professionals, clubs, events and jobs
- Firearms and shooting instructors, accredited psychologists and licensed gunsmiths are published from the official lists of the Brazilian Federal Police, with the validity stated on those lists. Expired accreditations are not published.
- Clubs, events and jobs are published from public information or information sent by the people responsible for them.
- Tiro Seguro does not recommend, rate or take responsibility for the services provided by professionals, clubs or organizers. Any hiring is done directly between you and them.
- If any data is wrong or out of date, or if you are listed in the directory and want to correct or remove your information, use the "Send a correction" button on the page itself or write to contato@tiroseguro.com.br.
4. Supporter posts
Some posts are exclusive to supporters. Access can be bought per post or through a plan with a set duration. The price, duration and what is included are shown before payment.
- Payment methods: USDC on the Base network, with the wallet of your choice, or Pix. When available, buying USDC with a card is done through a payment partner, under its own rules and identity checks.
- There is no automatic renewal. When the period ends, access ends and you decide whether to support again.
- Access is linked to the wallet that paid or to the email given at purchase. To sign in again, you confirm the wallet with a free signature or receive a code by email.
- Exclusive content is for personal use. Copying, reselling, sharing access or redistributing it is not allowed.
- Cryptocurrency payments are recorded on a public blockchain and cannot be reversed by the network. Check the network and the amount before confirming.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a purchase within 7 days of payment, as provided by article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, by writing to contato@tiroseguro.com.br with the receipt. The refund is made through the same payment method: in USDC to the wallet that paid or by Pix to the original account. After the refund, access ends.
6. Newsletter and contact form
When you subscribe to the newsletter, you confirm your email through a link and can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every message. Data sent through the contact form is used to reply to you and may be used to send communications related to the subject of your message. You can stop receiving them at any time using the unsubscribe link in the messages.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- try to access exclusive content without paying or get around the site's protections;
- collect content or data from the site automatically in large volume, except through the public mechanisms offered (such as the RSS feed);
- use the directory to send bulk messages, unsolicited advertising or any form of harassment;
- send illegal or offensive content, or content that violates the rights of others, through the site's forms;
- use the site for any unlawful activity.
8. Intellectual property
Tiro Seguro's texts, images, illustrations, brand and layout are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to posts and quote short excerpts with credit and a link to the original. Any other use requires written permission.
9. Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party websites and uses external services for payments, wallets, email and bot protection. These services have their own terms and policies, and Tiro Seguro does not control their content or practices.
10. Limitation of liability
Tiro Seguro works to keep the content accurate and the site online, but does not guarantee that it is always error-free, complete or available without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, Tiro Seguro is not liable for decisions made based on the content or for services provided by third parties listed on the site.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. Important changes for supporters are also announced by email when an email is on file.
12. Governing law and contact
